Reeperbahn
and red-light
walking tour
From the "Landungsbrücken" we go to the most sinful mile of the world, the "Reeperbahn". With all which is included here: Prostitution, culture, striptease and nightlife. We show you the cultural highlights like the "Schmidts Theatre", the "Operettenhaus" and the "St.-Pauli-Theater", as well as the subcultural side of the "Reeperbahn" including the "Herbertstrasse" in which the prostitutes offer their services already since 1900. An unwritten law of this street says: "No entrance for women!"
Having passed the prostitution of the "Davidstrasse", we go further to the "Hans-Albers-Platz" with the life-sized bronze statue of Hans Albers. At this place, there is a lot of live music and dancing in the bars and clubs. Now we go to the best-known side road of the "Reeperbahn", the "Grosse Freiheit" with the new designed Beatles place, passing the world-famous Dollhouse and the Safariclub, where the beautiest strippers of the world present their bodies. Also the leftovers of the Star Club in which the Beatles became superstars can be gazed at in the "Grosse Freiheit". At the end we have an original Hamburg short drink in the restaurant Da Mingo or the One-O-Two-Bar,
which will tune you into a very personal exploration of the most sinful mile.
